I was recently chatting with a HUBB representative about some system testing problems I encountered, and stumbled across HUBB INVESTOR on the main HUBB website.
My initial impression is that HUBB Investor is a freebie basic or scaled-down version of Profitsource, but it may be just what some people are looking for. If you would like to download the software and give it a try, you can go to this address: http://www.hubbinvestor.com. Just make sure you give a valid email address because you will need a registration key to start using it.
The first thing I noticed about the software was the absence of Elliott Wave precomputed scans, but it does contain the Volume Spikes, 25 percent gainers and losers, some Bollinger Stuff, etc. The other main difference is that the technical indicators list you can pick from is very small. A third difference is the absence of the Market Scanner and System builder.
The next thing I noticed was the Option Chain feature. I have to admit, when I first saw this feature in the freebie HUBB Investor, and not in my Profitsource...I wasn't very pleased. I can only hope that HUBB will include this feature in next release of Profitsource. That being said, I have grown familiar with Optionetics Platinum for my options needs, and it really isn't a big deal to me.
